BLACK NUGGET

The Black Nugget has been Moranbah’s local pub since it opened its doors in 1971 and it holds a special place in the hearts of the Moranbah community - a community consisting mostly of long time locals and transient coal mine workers. 

It’s where the locals and visitors meet - for a knock off drink, to catch up with mates, to enjoy a good meal, celebrate a milestone, hold an informal business meeting, or just kick back and relax. It’s pretty safe to say, if you’ve been to Moranbah - you’ve been to the Black Nugget Hotel.

The complex is located centrally in Moranbah and is a short stroll to all amenities including the CBD, hospital, corporate offices and sporting facilities, and just a 5 minute drive from the Moranbah Airport.
